Updates on our lives.

It had been quite a difficult fall for us. Jam had medical bills and I was struggling with my job, the death of my grandmother and then my cat in December. Then the holidays rolled around and we were busy. Now it’s 2010! The start of a fresh new year. Unfortunately, the tables for San Japan’s Arist Alley were sold out by January the 3rd, so currently we aren’t going to be there. We are on the waiting list, though.

I will, however, be at Mizuumi-con on February 27th. It’s a small con and I don’t expect to see a ton of people, but it’s better than nothing for this year. I’m pretty sure I won’t be at Jafax this year and Jammer will probably try to move down here to Texas. Hopefully!

Hope you have a great start to the New Year!

San Japan update

It’s a bit late in coming, but I updated the gallery with the commission work we did from conventions in 2008. We’ve done quite a few now! I’m looking forward to doing more this year! We’ve got a lot we want to prepare for the cons.

A bit of fun, Sammich did an awesome poster and postcard for San Japan this year with their mascot Sana! You can see the full versions at San-Japan.org!

Happy Holidays! Con announcements!

We’ve kind of spruced up the page a bit. Added the blog to the main site. The big annoucement is, however, what cons we plan to attend for the 2009 season! I’m going to list the cons now by dates:

Mizuumi-Con held on March 21, 2009 in San Antonio, TX at Lady Of The Lake University. (only Sammich will be attending.)

Jafax 14 held on June 27 – 28, 2009 in Allendale, MI at Grand Valley State University. (both JammerLea and Sammich will be there.)

San Japan 2.x held on August 14 – 16, 2009 in San Antonio, TX at San Antonio Municipal Auditorium & Holiday Inn El Tropicano Riverwalk. (Both JammerLea and Sammich will be there.)

So as you can see, we have quite a few appearances to make. And if you happen to know any places around San Antonio, TX and the Grand Rapids, MI area you’d like to see us, feel free to make a suggestion! As for now we’re taking things easy and considering future projects to work on. See you at a con!
