San Japan 7!

San Japan 7!

We had a lot of fun as we attended San Japan 7! Friday was a little slow so we were worried, but eventually it seemed to pick up on Saturday! That was our best day. We also had fun during Sunday and we were able to chat with our friends SaBasse and Travis.

There were over 14,000 attendees this time! It’s amazing to see a con grow over the years from a tiny event into a full blown convention! We hope things just get better for San Japan!

Summer Block Fest Follow-up

Summer Block Fest Follow-up

Sorry for the delay! We want to give a big thank you to everyone who visited our booth at the Summer Block Fest this past weekend. We had a great time seeing everyone, even though it was a long, hot day! We hope all the attendees had a great time! It would be nice to see more anime and manga events like the Summer Block Fest!

Since it was last minute for us, we didn’t have as many new items as we would’ve liked. We’ll make sure to have more ready for San Japan and Omnicon. Those will be upon us pretty quick! It’s going to be a busy, yet enjoyable summer! Please come visit our booth again at those conventions! We look forward to seeing everyone again!

Mizuumicon 7!

Mizuumicon 7!

Thank you to everyone who visited our table yesterday at Mizuumi-con! We saw a number of familiar faces, and got to meet a lot of new people too. We received a lot of good feedback, which was great as we were debuting some new buttons and glossy prints! There were a number of items that we sold out of, so we’re sorry if there was something you wanted that we didn’t have in stock. We’ll be sure to restock again for San Japan in July! Or you can always check out our Store Envy or contact us if there was something specific that you were looking for.

We did a few commissions again, which is always a challenge considering that we get pretty busy during the con. There was a lot of traffic! It’s great to see that Mizuumi-con continues to grow. We definitely will be looking forward to next year!

Now we’ve got a few months before San Japan and Omnicon, so we’ll be working to create new things to bring to the table. We have a lot of ideas we’d like to work on. We look forward to seeing everyone again next time!

Ushicon 9

Ushicon 9

So Jam and I both attended Ushicon 9 this weekend. It was a small con for the 18+ crowd in the heart of Texas at Round Rock.
Though traffic was slow, it was still nice to see familiar faces from the con circuit and also to meet new people. We were able to do commissions for a few people which was great. The relaxed atmosphere really helped in that aspect.

Jam was able to participate in the Iron Artist panel for the first time ever alongside artist Travis McDaniel. Jam ended up drawing Street Fighter ponies. So, though it may not have been the most lucrative con we’ve been to, it certainly had it’s share of memories!
