Just as was mentioned earlier, we are hosting the San Antonio Hetalia Day for 2014. We have a small update in that in order to cover the cost of the pavilion we’ve made a go fund me page. The event is still free! But we wanted to help cover some of the expenses of hosting that often time we cover out of pocket. The pavilion alone is going to be $150 so we set that as our goal. Any additional funds would be used for the event.

If you’d like to donate, we have several rewards according to amount donated. These include limited prints, bookmarks and buttons.

We would really appreciate a donation!

If you can’t donate, please let us know you’d like to volunteer to help. We can put you on a list of volunteers. You can contact us on this facebook post or even just message us through this website or Facebook! We really appreciate the volunteers and all the food and drink that is brought to the event. It makes it enjoyable for everyone.

Just a reminder that this event will be on Sunday, October 26th, 2014. That’s quite a while from now, but it’s a good idea to plan ahead anyway!

So we’re already moving the ball forward for the San Antonio chapter of Hetalia Day this year. Since we had such a huge turnout last year, we decided that we should rent a pavilion in the park, so there’s more room for everyone. We went to the park yesterday to scout out the pavilions and decided that the middle sized one was the best! It’s also right next to restrooms and a playground, which is super awesome since many attendees come with their families!

Hopefully we can get more assistance organizing this year. We always have people (including parents) say they’d be happy to help, but when we’re working on everything we never actually hear from them. If you’re interested, please contact us. We’ll set up a list of volunteers.

This year Hetalia day is going to be on a Sunday. October 26th 2014. We’re holding it in Brackenridge Park specifically at the Joskes Pavilion.
Anyway, if you’re a Hetalia fan and in the San Antonio area, please consider joining us! You do NOT have to cosplay. We do enjoy, however, if you bring food or drink along for our potluck.

Mizuumicon 7!

Thank you to everyone who visited our table yesterday at Mizuumi-con! We saw a number of familiar faces, and got to meet a lot of new people too. We received a lot of good feedback, which was great as we were debuting some new buttons and glossy prints! There were a number of items that we sold out of, so we’re sorry if there was something you wanted that we didn’t have in stock. We’ll be sure to restock again for San Japan in July! Or you can always check out our Store Envy or contact us if there was something specific that you were looking for.

We did a few commissions again, which is always a challenge considering that we get pretty busy during the con. There was a lot of traffic! It’s great to see that Mizuumi-con continues to grow. We definitely will be looking forward to next year!

Now we’ve got a few months before San Japan and Omnicon, so we’ll be working to create new things to bring to the table. We have a lot of ideas we’d like to work on. We look forward to seeing everyone again next time!

So, of course now we’re excited and focused on Mizuumi-con coming up next month on the 22nd.

How excited are we?
VERY excited.

Well, we at least know where we’re going to be, so we thought we’d share the AA map so you can see where our spot will be. So according to staff it’ll be mixed Dealers and Artists, which is probably for the best, really.

So if you do end up going to this convention, please visit us and say hi. We really do love seeing new and familiar faces alike.

We got into San Japan 7′s Artist Alley!! So please look for us in July at this event! More details will be forthcoming when we decide our table, etc.
