New cons added to the 2015 schedule!

New cons added to the 2015 schedule!

This is an exciting update that is just to note that we will be attending a new con.  It’s Mini-Mini Con here in San Antonio on May the 16th.  It’s a small one-day con.

We also won the program cover art contest for Mizuumicon 8, so we WILL be attending that awesome local con as well.  That’s this month on the 21st!!  If you happen to be in San Antonio, it’s not to be missed as it’s a very popular convention for a one day con!

We will also be attending San Japan 8 this summer (7/31/2015 – 8/2/2015)!  Sign ups were pretty brutal again and all spots were taken in about 2 minutes or so.  SJ is getting pretty well noticed in the con community and it’s been awesome watching it grow all these years.

As previously mentioned, we will be attending Realmscon in October, too!  This has started off as a fun year so far and we plan on breaking out larger prints and more items in the future!

A Small Update!

A Small Update!

We just wanted to make a small announcement of upcoming conventions.  Of course, we’re going to Kaede-con which is this upcoming Saturday (November 22, 2014).  It will be our first time there and it’s a small con that has just entered it’s second year.  It’s held at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.    If you’d like to find out a bit more information, they also have a Facebook page.

In other news, the temp has dropped!  We’re freezing!  Haha.  That’s not really news!  Jam and I have been busy working with the Hetascanlations team and keeping up with Himaruya’s updates.  He seems to be really busy now!  It’s very exciting.  Though we like other anime, at our core we’re still Hetalia fans.  With Portugal being introduced everyone is excited!

Pardon Our Dust

Pardon Our Dust

We’re settling back into using WordPress for it’s flexibility.  Our goal is to make this website a bit more informative and to be a bit more illustrative of the work that we do.

So far we’ve been able to include most of the posts we’ve had from the previous sites that span back to 2007.

It’s amusing to look back on the history of a website and realize a bit just how long exactly you’ve been doing the things that you’ve done.  We’ve seen our con layout grow from just example work and commissions to prints, buttons and various other goods.  It’s been a slow process but a rewarding one and definitely fun!

A Pavilion For Hetalia Day!

A Pavilion For Hetalia Day!

Just as was mentioned earlier, we are hosting the San Antonio Hetalia Day for 2014. We have a small update in that in order to cover the cost of the pavilion we’ve made a go fund me page. The event is still free! But we wanted to help cover some of the expenses of hosting that often time we cover out of pocket. The pavilion alone is going to be $150 so we set that as our goal. Any additional funds would be used for the event.

If you’d like to donate, we have several rewards according to amount donated. These include limited prints, bookmarks and buttons.

We would really appreciate a donation!

If you can’t donate, please let us know you’d like to volunteer to help. We can put you on a list of volunteers. You can contact us on this facebook post or even just message us through this website or Facebook! We really appreciate the volunteers and all the food and drink that is brought to the event. It makes it enjoyable for everyone.

Just a reminder that this event will be on Sunday, October 26th, 2014. That’s quite a while from now, but it’s a good idea to plan ahead anyway!
