San Japan 12.5!!

San Japan 12.5!!

Despite being in the midst of a pandemic, we managed to attend San Japan 12.5! Everyone was fully masked at all times indoors. We had hand sanitizer at our table and we were happy to be with our fellow anime and game fans!!

We debut a number of new Genshin Impact buttons for this convention and they sold very well. We also had a limited number of holographic Genshin buttons that were only available through the Gashapon machine we had on our table. There were so many Genshin Impact cosplayers!! I feel like I saw most of the characters there! It was exciting to see how happy everyone was to be able to interact with their fellow nerds.

We really had fun and were able to present our Albedo button to Khoi Dao (Albedo’s VA).

We look forward to hopefully future conventions! Thanks to anyone who stopped by our table. We appreciate it!

Fully Vaccinated!

Fully Vaccinated!

Jamie and I (Sam) are now fully vaccinated with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination. We look forward to when everyone else is also vaccinated and in the meantime we both will try to help slow the spread by wearing masks and avoiding going out too frequently.

If you or someone you know is on the fence about taking the vaccine, please keep informed by reading this page put out by the CDC.

We both look forward to future conventions in a safe environment.

Convention cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Convention cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, Covid-19, many anime and gaming conventions throughout the world have been cancelled. As sad as I am to relay this news, I am also very understanding and grateful to the convention heads who have had to make this decision. Jammerlea has a chronic disease and must take immunosuppressive drugs to help alleviate her symptoms, attending conventions while Covid-19 is spreading would be especially hazardous. I also take care of and help my senior citizen parents. My mother, in particular, is receiving radiation and chemo therapy. My father was hospitalized with pneumonia earlier this year as well. So even I am very cautious about Covid-19 and we have all practiced self-isolation.

We are in good spirits and it seems as though we will hopefully attend Mizuumicon next year as our table will roll-over to 2021. San Japan may still happen since it is during labor day weekend. I hope that things will get better. Stay safe, wash your hands.

Mini-Mini Con 2019!

Mini-Mini Con 2019!

We went to Mini-Mini Con this past Saturday and it was a blast! There were so many people! The Wonderland Mall was chock full of people despite the damp weather. South Texans are serious about cons! We sold a good number of items! Thank you for everyone who came to visit us! Our table-neighbor Sabasse who traveled from Oklahoma to attend also had a great time. Jam and I (Sam) are now focused on getting ready for San Japan as well as putting up a more permanent online store.
